The bottle was adapted on 3 crucial points:

1. The somewhat longer neck gives the bottle a more elegant look and underlines the premium quality image for which Filippo Berio is famous.
2. The sculptured elements of the bottle give the bottle a premium character with regard to quality and Italian authenticity. But, with these adaptations we remain faithful to our mission to be a family product to be used on a daily basis.
3. Both the traditional architecture of the bottle and the golden capsule of Filippo Berio were maintained as important elements of continuity and authenticity The new design of our Filippo Berio label ensures a more attractive and more striking presence on the shelf.
The contours and the golden edge make our logo stand out better.
Consumer research taught us there should be more communication concerning the use of extra virgin and pure olive oil. This will be adapted as well. We are convinced that this will lead to a better and higher consumption of olive oil in Belgium in the near future.
